Established in 1950, the Friends of the Library is a 501c(3) non profit organization supporting and enhancing the goals of the Library. In addition to holding two used book sales each year, we fund a robust schedule of quality programs for all ages at the Library. Membership in the Friends is open to all, and membership dues go directly to supporting activities at Baldwin. Join the Friends today to support your library! The membership year lasts from September 1 through August 30.
Baldwin appreciates the Friends of BPL's most recent donation of this large globe to the Youth Room.
Friends of the Library Board
The Board of the Friends work tirelessly to manage everything from the used book sales, membership drives, newsletter, and more.
Are you interested in helping out the Friends above and beyond membership? Volunteers are needed to staff the Book Sales, and to help behind the scenes sorting the thousands of books, DVDs and CDs that are donated throughout the year.
To volunteer with the Friends, please email Paul Gillin or call 248-554-4683.
