PARKING MAP

Parking is free for the first two hours in any of the five structures highlighted in red.  Metered parking is also available on all four streets surrounding the library.

From southbound I-75 | From northbound I-75 | From I-96, I-94, I-696, and the Lodge Freeway

From southbound I-75
Exit at Big Beaver(16 Mile Rd.).  Proceed west on Big Beaver to Woodward Ave.  Turn right (north) on Woodward and immediately turn left at the turn-around.   Proceed south on Woodward.  Follow signs for the City of Birmingham turnoff (right), and go to Maple Road (15 Mile Rd.).  Turn right on Maple Rd.  Go three blocks west to Bates.  Turn left on Bates.  The Library takes up the entire second block on the right.

From northbound I-75
Exit at 14 Mile Rd.  Go west to Woodward Ave.  Turn right on Woodward (north) and proceed to Maple Rd (15 Mile Rd.).  Turn left on Maple.  Go five blocks to Bates St. and turn left.  The Library takes up the entire second block on the right.

From I-96, I-94, I-696, and the Lodge Freeway
Exit north on Southfield Rd.  Southfield will dead-end at Maple Rd. (15 Mile Rd.).  Turn right on Maple and go east two blocks to Bates.  Turn right on Bates.  The Library takes up the entire second block on the right.
