Library Memories

The library is a source of knowledge and pleasure.

When you ask me about our most memorable experience with the library, I can only think of the time a toddler granddaughter carried a library toy into the adult section of Baldwin. Before we knew where she had been--she covered a wide area with a grandmother running behind her, she deposited the stuffed library animal somewhere and neither grandmother nor librarian knew where it was or could be.

Add to that the time we checked out a toy which had about 120 pieces (really) which we had to locate and catalogue before we returned same. It took a year to find that one last piece--it was under a Victorian table caught in a curl of table leg.
