Volunteer at Baldwin Public Library
Help the Baldwin Public Library better serve your community through your donation of time and talents.
Currently, the Library has three volunteer programs available:
Baldwin Boosters (For students ages 11-14)

Volunteer your time in the Youth Services Department during the annual Summer Reading program. Volunteers will work with kids of all ages, assist with programs and projects, help set-up/clean-up craft stations, and greet guests at programs.
Commitment: Summer months (June - August)

PAL Volunteer (for Teens and Adults)

This volunteer program was developed in cooperation with the Friends of the Baldwin Public Library. Opportunities are available in the youth, teen, adult, technical and circulation departments. Choose to work directly with the public (promoting programming and services) or behind the scenes (Friends book sale, adopt a shelf and clerical).
Commitment: Long term, usually 1-2 days per week/1-2 hours per day based on availability.

Community Service Volunteer (Teens and Adults)
|
This volunteer program is for students required by their school to volunteer in community agencies as a requirement for graduation, or for offenders referred by the courts of Oakland County to the library for community service work in lieu of punishment.
Commitment: Hours determined by school or court requirement.
