Writers Live with Battle of the Books Author Helen Frost

Wednesday, December 9 at 7p.m.  Everyone welcome.  Register here.   

Winner of a Printz Honor Medal, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, and many other awards and honors, noted poet and author Helen Frost will be discussing her book and her experiences in a small Alaskan town.
Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow the event.


Martin Luther King Day Celebration with Miz Rosie

Storyteller Rosie Chapman brings history to life with her reenactment of Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. Her performance includes audience participation and has thrilled children and adults all over the United States and around the world.
