Did you know the Youth Room has many resources for early learners?
Come to the Youth Room and take a look at:
- Board Books: Durable books with sturdy pages for the
very young child.
- Concept Books: A special section of books focusing
on concepts such as ABCs, colors, numbers, and more!
- Discovery Books:
A special section of non-fiction books for early learners.
- Easy Books: Picture books for parents/caregivers to
share with children.
- Beginning-to-Read Books: A collection of books for
children learning to read.
- Puppets: Stop and play with our puppets and puppet
stage. Puppets are available for checkout. Two puppets
per child (one for each hand!) can be checked out.
- Toys: The Youth Room has a toy area for children to learn
and discover. Ask a Librarian about our collection of toys
to take home!
- Games Computers: Two CD ROM computers with games for early
learners.
- CD ROMS: A variety of educational and entertainment CD ROMS
to take home.
- Music CDs: A great collection of music CDs for children.
- Media Kits: Your child can read along or be read to with
this book and cassette or CD combination.
- Videos: Browse the many shelves of educational and
entertainment videos and DVDs for children.
