Story Times

Reading to your child is a great way to grow a lifelong reader. And it’s easy to start them early with engaging story times led by our enthusiastic librarians. Checkout our programs for young listeners and their grownups from birth through age 5.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Encourage reading and help prepare your child for kindergarten.  Register now.

Book Bundles

For babies through 6th grade. Don’t know what you want to read? Want some surprises? Fill out the Book Bundle form and a Youth Services Librarian will pull a bundle of surprise books for checkout.

Books Unboxed

For Grades 4 to 12.

Join our new, free subscription book service and receive a surprise library book tailored to your preference on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Sign ups received after the third Tuesday of the month will be fulfilled the following month. Fill out the Books Unboxed form to subscribe now.

TALK

Make any time learning time!
Sign up to get 8-10 messages per month with fun activities you can do at home to help prepare little ones, ages 5 and under, for school success.

 

 

Storybook Trail

Visit Beverly Park and walk the 0.4 miles trail and read an entire book that is posted on permanent posts throughout the park. Experience a new story every month April to December.

The current book through March is Twinkle, Twinkle, Winter Night by Megan Litwin.
