Search for “Baldwin Public Library” in the App Store or the Google Play store to download our app and get started.
Open the app and login to your Baldwin account with your card number and PIN for easy reference and use at any time. Once logged in, you can search the library’s catalog, manage holds, make lists, find direct links to the library’s
databases, ebook services, and social media accounts.

Baldwin Public Library offers a variety of private rooms for use.

Public computers are available to BPL cardholders for a maximum of 2 hours per day.

Curbside Pickup is available for most of our items 7 days a week (Internet to Go Kits and Library of Things items are not eligible for Curbside Pickup). Simply pull up near the library’s loading dock on Chester St.

Are you a BPL cardholder looking for a title Baldwin does not own? Tired of waiting for Baldwin’s copy to be available? Try requesting items through MeLCat or Interlibrary Loan!

Need a proctor to supervise one of your written or online exams? Baldwin offers this service daily during our regular business hours, and will even work directly with your academic institution to accommodate your requirements.

At Baldwin Public Library, we want every one of our patrons to feel welcome — including those who struggle with vision obstacles.

We understand it’s not always easy to get out of the house. If you’re a Baldwin patron that is unable to physically come to the library to pick up your materials, don’t worry: we have a Home Delivery service that will bring library materials to you!

A seed library is a collection of seeds available for lending to the community. Users “borrow” (or take) seeds from the library to grow food and flowers. After harvesting mature seeds, people may “return” (or donate) seeds back to the seed library.

Get out and explore! As part of a partnership with Michigan public libraries, the Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) invites Library cardholders to visit more than 440 cultural institutions, including nature centers, historical sites, museums, and every Michigan state park.

Tax time can be so hectic, we’d love to make things simpler for you. If you’re doing your own taxes, contact the Adult Services department for assistance acquiring tax forms. We stock both Federal and Michigan forms from mid-January through April.
