Birmingham resident David Bloom is compiling a community art project to honor the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Interested artists may apply and all details about the project can be found on CreativeWest. This project, entitled An Imperfect Union, is a large-scale, on-site collaborative public art mural project that will be created together from August 28 to 30 at Baldwin Public Library. 15-20 artists will be invited to participate and collaborate on the project. Each participating artist will receive $250 for their work upon completion of the project.
