Library Computers
Public computers are available to BPL cardholders for a maximum of 2 hours per day.
Non-cardholders should inquire at the Information Desk for alternative options.
All Library computers are Windows computers with Adobe Reader, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, VLC Media Player, and the full Microsoft Office suite. Access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Photoshop, is also available on specific public computers. Ask a librarian for help if you would like to use Adobe CC.

Library WiFi
Connecting to our BPL Wireless Network is easy. Just select “BPL Wireless Network,” accept our terms of use, and you’ll be connected quickly. For WiFi assistance, just ask the Adult Services desk staff.
Internet to Go Kits
With support from the Library of Michigan CARES Act grant, we’ve added 5 Internet to Go kits to our circulating collection. Internet to Go kits may be checked out by BPL cardholders and by patrons with reciprocal borrowing privilege. Each kit circulates for one week and includes an Acer or Samsung Chromebook with a mouse and a Franklin Wireless hotspot in a sturdy Pelican carrying case. Internet to Go kits are intended for use at home and may not be used inside the Library building.
Wireless Printing
We’ve made it convenient for you to print wirelessly from your personal computer or mobile device. Access Princh, our wireless printing service in-browser [link opens in new tab], or download the Princh app for your Apple [link opens in new tab] or Android [link opens in new tab] mobile devices.
Black-and-white prints are $0.05/page, while color prints are $0.10/page. Remit payment at the print release station with cash, credit card, or debit card.
Scanning and Faxing
The library has a complete scanning and faxing solution. The Library Document Center can scan photos and documents to a flash drive, email, Google Drive, and OneDrive. You can also send faxes through the same system.
