We give young people opportunities to learn, gain leadership skills, fulfill community-service commitments — and have fun, too.

Upcoming Special Programs
Dungeons & Dragons
From 1-4 p.m. on May 3rd. Grades 7-12.
In this classic role-playing game, choose how your character interacts with the story, using dice to decide the outcome. All players are welcome to join, no experience necessary. Each session will be a one shot adventure. Registration Required.
Teen Study Night with Therapy Dogs
Saturday, June 7th from 7-8 p.m. Grades 9-12.
Is school stressing you out? Maybe petting dogs will help! After the library closes to the public, the library will remain open for students in grades 9-12. Pizza will be provided. No registration required.
Cupcake Wars!
Wednesday, June 25th from 6:30-8 p.m. Grades 6-8.
Test your decorating skills during our cupcake showdown! For this challenge you’ll have a set amount of time, ingredients and cupcakes to come up with designs to fit our themes and impress our panel of judges. Registration Required.
Happy Little Painting Party
Thursday, June 26 from 7-8:30 p.m. Grades 7-12.
Find that happy little feeling as local artist Katie Rothley teaches us how to create our own happy little masterpieces. All supplies will be provided. Registration Required.
Teen Culinary Club
Monday, July 28 at 7 p.m. Grades 7-12.
Prepare a dish from the book “The Ultimate Gamers Cookbook: Recipes for an Epic Game Night” and share it with fellow food lovers. Upon registration, please select a specific recipe from the book.

Books Unboxed
Join our subscription box service for grades 4-12 and receive a surprise library book along with snacks and other goodies. Sign up by the 3rd Tuesday of the month to receive your box on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Subscriptions last for 3 months and there is no limit to how many times you can sign up! Pizza and Pages
Grades 7-12
1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
The first 10 to register will receive a free paperback book, thanks to the Friends of Baldwin Public Library. Pizza will be provided. Registration required.
Paperbacks and Snacks
Grades 6-8.
2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
The first 10 teens to register will receive a free book, thanks to the Friends of Baldwin Public Library. Snacks will be provided, registration required.
Teens Night Out
Grades 7-12
Teens Night Out is on the First Wednesday of the Month from 7-8:30pm during the school year.
Spend an evening hanging out with other teens who love the library as much as you do! There will be video games, board games, crafts, food, and more. Registration required.
Cozy Writers Club
Grades 7-12
The Teen Cozy Writers Club is on the Third Monday of the Month from 4:30-5:30pm.
The Cozy Teen Writing Club is a writing club for teens who wish to join the pantheon of wordsmiths that we as a library hold in glorious esteem. Come join us as we develop our craft and to give feedback to one another.
Animanga Club
Grades 6-12
Animanga Club meets on the Third Wednesday of the Month from 7-8pm.
Join us at Animanga Club for anime watch parties, fandom discussions, new manga recommendations from fellow readers and snacks. No prior experience or knowledge is required—just a love for the art and a willingness to have fun!
Teen Advisory Board
Grades 7-12
3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00 p.m. during the school year.
Have some ideas for the Library? Attend these fun-filled meetings to share your ideas and make friends. Attendance can also be used for volunteer hours! Pizza will be provided. Registration required.

Explore. Tinker. And learn! The Idea Lab is our space where big ideas come to life and where people of all ages and tech levels are welcome. Drop in or sign up for a skill- or project-based class or make an appointment today to learn how to use our 3D printer or laser engraver. We also have a variety of tools available, including an embroidery machine, soldering equipment, design software, and more.
